About Us!
Melissa Fellows has been teaching now for over 9 years and loves every minute of it! She began teaching at the age of 16 when neighbourhood parents would ask her to teach their children. While obtaining her Bachelor of Arts majoring in music at the University of Lethbridge, Melissa taught musical theatre lessons at Lethbridge Community College. She continued to teach after she graduated at various music studios in Alberta and Ontario. In 2005, Melissa completed her training with Kindermusik® International and became a licensed educator. On top of teaching voice lessons, piano lessons and Kindermusik® she somehow finds time to put together unique summer musical theatre workshops and still manage her own performance schedule. Melissa's passion for music and love of her students is why she "wouldn't give this job up for the world". James Fellows completed his music degree in piano performance at McGill University. He has been actively teaching and performing throughout southern Ontario for over 15 years. James is a talented accompanist and composer and enjoys sharing these skills with his students.

Company History
M & J Music Studio began in 2007 when Melissa and James decided to join forces and start their own music business. Since then the studio has grown to over 150 students of all ages taking lessons in piano, voice, and musical theatre camps and workshops. Our goal is to provide music instruction that will motivate and inspire students to form a passion for music that will continue throughout their entire life.
